City moves Jacksonville Jazz Festival to the fall

The 40th annual Jacksonville Jazz Festival will be held this fall, more than a year after the event was canceled in 2020 because of the coronavirus pandemic. Jacksonville’s annual Jazz Festival moving to fall

Jacksonville, FL — The City of Jacksonville announced the return of its annual Jazz Festival, but this year it will be in the fall. Last year the annual festival was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The 40th anniversary of the festival will be celebrated with free entertainment from jazz artists. Jacksonville Jazz Festival canceled

In response to ongoing COVID-19 health concerns, the 40th annual Jacksonville Jazz Festival scheduled May 21-24, Memorial Day weekend, is canceled, according to a news release distributed April 14 by city spokeswoman Nikki Kimbleton.
