In a few short years, Thurman has shared stages and recorded with such jazz luminaries including George Coleman, Roy Haynes, Dianne Reeves and Wynton Marsalis among others. The New York City native has already amassed several distinctive honors for her musicianship: nominations for Downbeat Magazine’s Critics Poll (Rising Star Tenor Saxophonist), runner up in the 2013 Sarah Vaughan International Vocal Competition, two-time winner of the ASCAP Herb Alpert Young Jazz Composers Award, a winner of the Fulbright Scholars Cultural Ambassador Grant and The Chamber Music of America Performance Plus Grant (Sponsored by the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation) among others.

She was the first woman in 30 years to tour, record and perform as a full time saxophonist/woodwind doubler internationally with the world renown Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra (2018-2020). Thurman also leads her band, The Camille Thurman Quartet, which has toured and performed at numerous notable concert venues and jazz festivals around the world.

Darrell Green

Innovative master drummer, Darrell Green is one of the leading, most sought after masterful drummers on today’s jazz scene. As a prolific sideman, bandleader, educator, clinician, composer and producer, Green is known for his effortless, masterful technique and captivating rhythms that bring the music to life, taking audiences on a spiritual journey.

Though jazz is his primary focus, Green is conversant in every genre from straight-ahead jazz to Latin and West African music. As a performer, Green has toured and performed in notable concert halls and music festivals in over 50 countries around the world. In addition to being one of the most sought after, in demand drummers of his generation, Darrell leads his trio and quintet.
