All of the rain in the forecast is expected to make for a wet Jazz Festival this weekend.<\/p>\n
Organizers told WJCT News they\u2019ll be monitoring the weather onsite and working with the Jacksonville Sheriff\u2019s Office and Fire-Rescue to ensure the safety of everyone that attends.<\/p>\n
Any postponements or cancellations will be posted on the\u00a0Jacksonville Jazz Festival website<\/a>, the\u00a0organization\u2019s Facebook page<\/a>\u00a0and on Twitter at\u00a0@JaxJazz@Fest<\/a>.<\/p>\n Attendees will be allowed to bring umbrellas this year, according to organizers.<\/p>\n Music fans attending the Jazz Festival will have three stages to choose from.<\/p>\n Musical acts scheduled to perform on the Swingin\u2019 Stage outside the Duval County Courthouse include Diane Reeves, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy and the UNF Jazz Ensemble.<\/p>\n The Champian Fulton Quartet, The Russell Malone Quartet and Jeff Lorber Fusion will be playing on the Groovin\u2019 Stage in Hemming Park.<\/p>\n And on the Breezin\u2019 Stage at Main and Monroe streets, look for the Lonnie Smith Trio, Jonathan Baptiste and the Urban Intellectuals and Arturo Sandoval.<\/p>\n The Jazz Festival starts Thursday afternoon and runs through Sunday night.<\/p>\n
