{"id":10588,"date":"2022-05-27T14:30:52","date_gmt":"2022-05-27T14:30:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jacksonvillejazzfest.com\/?p=10588"},"modified":"2022-08-11T14:33:55","modified_gmt":"2022-08-11T14:33:55","slug":"jacksonville-business-owners-gear-up-for-jazz-fest-weekend","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jacksonvillejazzfest.com\/_ARC\/2022\/05\/jacksonville-business-owners-gear-up-for-jazz-fest-weekend\/","title":{"rendered":"Jacksonville business owners gear up for Jazz Fest weekend"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Jacksonville Jazz Festival has returned and many small business owners are anticipating the crowds drawn to the event will help boost sales.<\/p>\n<p>Action News Jax spoke with business owners today and has more on what this festival means to them<\/p>\n<p>Many say they are excited about what this festival could bring to their business\u2019s bottom lines, and they are hopeful for a profitable weekend<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe city of Jacksonville has done a great job of helping us small business people survive,\u201d says Business owner Jen Ocha.<\/p>\n<p>Ocha, owner of Daddy-os says events like the jazz festival are amazing because it helps them finically<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s a good economic boost not only for the city but for us to continue to do this every weekend,\u201d says Ocha.<\/p>\n<p>Willian Jimenez, who is also a local food truck owner says people coming to check out their business this weekend can be beneficial for them in the long run.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor people coming to see the food trucks and all they have for the small business here,\u201d says Jimenez<\/p>\n<p>Nicole Kelley, who has a booth offering purses and other items, says being around other small businesses helps her business<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s always good to be in the marketplace. Sometimes it\u2019s not all about selling the products.
